Customer Service Trainer- Hourly position with competitive wage with future growth potential due to our promote from within philosophy Description: The Customer Service Trainer in a Bed Bath & Beyond store acts in tandem with the store management team to promote outstanding service, train and develop others on product knowledge, and enjoys making others better at their jobs.
The Customer Service Trainer is responsible for working with team associates on customer services, selling skills and product knowledge.
This position is expected to perform a wide variety of activities aimed at driving sales and service.
The Customer Service Trainer will serve as the subject matter expert and is responsible for ensuring that all customer service initiatives are implemented and executed per Company standards.
The Customer Service Trainer is a part time or full time position and requires full availability including nights and weekends.
This position reports directly to Store Management and is expected to coordinate and deliver training to associates.
The Customer Service Trainer will spend the majority of their time working on the sales floor, training and devoting time to selling activities.
This individual will work and train with others to learn and get exposed to our service culture, training programs and expectations.
Excellent skills in leadership, communication, and training Able to prioritize all responsibilities & multi-task with a strong sense of urgency Passion for customer service Ability to be a role model for others and consistently exhibit the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
Ability to process information/merchandise through a computerized inventory system.
Ability to communicate with associates and guests.
Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area and register.
Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run a store.
Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates Minimum of 1+ years of training experience in a retail or similar environment Prior experience in a fast paced, customer service industry is preferred
